The sixth house is ruled by Virgo and the planet Mercury, this is where an astrologer would look for planets (transiting or natal) to gauge your health, your ability to work at tasks (not necessarily your career but the day to day stuff you do at work) and how you are of service to your community. This house also covers pets and small animals.
Someone with Jupiter or the sun here may enjoy good health most of their lives but if Saturn comes through it could put restrictions on that good health for the duration of it’s transit. If you have a Saturn in the sixth of your natal chart, you might have an incredible work ethic and put in long hours where others might become frustrated. Leo on the cusp here could mean you are famous for your body or that you are big hearted and give a lot of your time in service of others.
As you have probably seen by now if you’ve been following my posts, there are many different interpretations for each placement of a planet in a house, or the sign on the cusp. Astrologers take so many things into account when they look at a chart and they use a bit of intuition as well when giving a client a reading.
