This is the first of two full moons in the sign of the water bearer. The next will be on August 22, just before the Sun goes into Virgo. So there are two parts to this release, maybe a do-over or second chance at next month’s full moon. For me these actually occur in different houses, my 6th and 7th, so same energy but different focus. Where is Aquarius in your natal chart?
Aquarius is an interesting sign, often people that only don’t study astrology get confused and think it’s a water sign but really it’s an air sign. Aquarius is ruled by both Saturn and Uranus. Yes, that Saturn – Uranus square is going to be stirred up with this full moon. Where do you need freedom but maybe also some boundaries? Full moons are always a tug of war since the Sun is opposite the Moon. Leo sun wants the focus on him and his needs met, Aquarius moon is about the community, the collective, what are you contributing to the group? These are things to think about today as the energy builds.
