Tomorrow, August 19th at 9:40 pm ET, Uranus will change direction and appear to reverse backwards in the sky until January 2022. This will complete our collection of outer planets in retrograde, as Pluto, Neptune, Saturn and Jupiter are all currently revisiting points from earlier this year. We have been feeling the energy of this slowdown for a few days at least and it will be a few more before this electric planet is up to speed in reverse.
With the change master Uranus in retrograde steadfast Taurus we turn inward with our desire to reinvent. What is it about ourselves, the roles we play, the things we accumulate, that is no longer a true expression of who we are?
If Uranus has hit points in your natal chart recently be prepared to revisit them in review. Now is a chance to check in on changes you may have made and we get one more shot at them once Uranus is direct in January. Look to where Taurus is in your chart for how this might affect you.
