Our forward motion slows down a little when Mars moves into Libra at 8:14 pm ET tomorrow. Mars is an action planet, known for getting stuff done – especially while in Virgo where he has been tackling the to-do list. In Libra, Mars is in detriment – in the sign opposite where he rules (Aries) so he is feeling uncomfortable. He is the god of war in the sign of peace. While Mars is here, we can work on balance in our actions, not overdoing it or giving up but that sweet spot that feels right. We can fight for justice and equality. We can create a well thought out plan of action.
Mars in Libra is about fairness but also competition. We want to work with others to achieve our goals. This could be a fantastic time for a group project. There is an energy of compromise, and the give and take necessary in a partnership. We need to watch out for the pitfalls with this combo too. Indecisiveness can be frustrating, and inaction can aggravate us right now. Death by committee because no one will take the lead and act.
Venus and Mars are now in mutual reception, meaning they are in signs ruled by each other. Venus rules Libra and Mars is the traditional ruler of Scorpio, along with Pluto the modern ruler. This means even though they are both uncomfortable in their respective placement, they can get assistance from each other. Venus can look to Mars for advice on braving the intensity of Scorpio’s relationships. Mars can get pointers from Venus on Libra’s use of diplomacy and aesthetics. They look to each other for guidance which should make the days ahead easier if not more interesting. Mars is in Libra until October 30th when he slips into Scorpio.
