The Aries Full Moon, also called the Full Blood Moon, on October 20th is very powerful and all about power. With the Sun in Libra, a sign concerned with balance, justice, beauty, and legal matters opposed to the Moon in Aries, the warrior, concerned with competition, exploration, leadership and trailblazing, we can expect to bump up against these issues at some point in the days surrounding this lunation.
There is also a T-square formed between the Sun/ Moon axis and Pluto in Capricorn adding authority, power, and obsession into the mix. Try to steer clear of anyone that is on a power trip tomorrow and maybe even Thursday. Question your own motivations and be sure you are not pushing your agenda onto another person at this time either. Pluto can sometimes cause a fixation on some act or something someone said that may have otherwise slipped by, be observant and don’t get hung up on things like this.
Use the power of this Full Moon to clear out the stagnant energy of the past season and prepare for upcoming one. Now is a good time work on releasing unnecessary competitive urges or comparisons, try to let go of anger and frustration and look for ways to forgive and heal, and to relinquish negative thought processes and fears that keep us from our potential. Easier said than done, I know, but just making a list and burning or shredding it is a step in the right direction. Let go of what isn’t working to make room for what will work.
The Moon will be void following its opposition to the Sun (10:57 am EDT) until entering Taurus at 3:59 pm EDT. While some things will culminate with the Full Moon, hold off on starting new work until the Moon has moved into Taurus.
