At this time of the year, we feel a little closer to the other side of the veil, the unseen forces are a tad more real, our connection to death and what comes next looms a bit larger. Scorpio is a sign that investigates, is intuitive, and can sometimes be intense. As the Sun enters Scorpio from October 23 until November 21, we can use this energy to dive into our deepest emotional depths, seek out the information we need, and connect to our spiritual path in our own way. Scorpio is a fixed water sign, meaning emotion is strong and often resistant to change. Scorpio rules the eighth house of sex, taxes, death, and other people’s money. Mars is the traditional ruler of Scorpio and Pluto is the modern ruler, both lending this sign a somber reputation but often Scorpio just has a darker sense of humor.

This is a good time to look over joint investments and make sure you are paid up on taxes, loans, or any other outstanding debts. Renovation projects, especially where you are reusing and adapting rather than replacing are favored now. Research projects and investigations are examples of Scorpio type activities. As it gets colder in the Northern parts of the world this is a good time to cuddle up on long dark nights and use body heat to keep warm 😉. Halloween holds so much of the Scorpio energy as well as All Saints Day, All Souls Day, and the Day of the Dead, it’s a time of honoring our ancestors and those who are no longer with us, as well as the unseen guides and guardians that walk alongside us. This is the time of year to get any type of psychic or intuitive reading.

Who are your favorite Scorpios? What does Scorpio season mean to you? The Sun moves into Scorpio at 12:51 am EDT until November 21
