Mars in Scorpio

October 30th – December 13th

The intensity level increases tomorrow as Mars joins the Sun in Scorpio at 10:21 am. This is a driven, powerful motivator. If there is a project you have been putting off, now is the time to finally see it through, because Mars here will get the job done. This energy can be a smoldering sexiness or a passionate desire. It could also be revenge seeking and darkly unforgiving. This is the warrior on the battlefield, the ironworker molding metal in a forage, or the extreme sport athlete in the heat of competition.  

Mars is the traditional ruler of Scorpio, along with modern ruler, Pluto. While Scorpio is a water sign, it is fixed water, still and dark, with great depth. Mars here can bring up deep emotional anger or frustration, this is the slow burning kind that finally hits you one day when you decide you’ve had enough. This is an energy of persistence and endurance.

While Mars is in Scorpio from October 30^th until December 13^th, he will make some challenging aspects to the other planets currently in fixed signs. Making squares to Saturn and Jupiter in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus next month. The thing to remember with Mars transits is to try and slow down, resist being impulsive or rash. Physical exertion can help to burn off some of this energy too but use caution here as well, so you don’t overdo it.
