The time to make plans, set intentions and secure a foundation for the future is here as the Sun and Moon join in Capricorn at 1:34 pm on January 2nd at the Capricorn new moon. Capricorn is a sign that plans far into the future and works hard in the present to ensure those goals will be met. The new moon here offers us an opportunity to think about where we want to achieve success, receive recognition, handle responsibility, and create security.
As we set our intentions, we can also reflect on all we achieved in the past year and show gratitude for the goals that were reached. If we fell short of what we hoped for it is important to consider why that was, if we weren’t ready yet, or maybe that was not the direction we were meant to travel. Capricorn is persistent and is willing to put off immediate gratification for the bigger pay off down the road, yet it is important to realize when there is no longer a good return on your investment.
