We have been living with the intense combination of Venus and Mars energy intermingling since mid-February when they made their first conjunction of 2022 on 2/16 in Capricorn. Tonight, that energy is no less intense, but it does shift from the earthy desires and values of Venus in Capricorn and the strategic and ruthless actions of Mars in Capricorn to the more cerebral altruistic Venus in Aquarius and the rebellious and independent Mars in Aquarius.

We could find ourselves stuck in our head with Venus in Aquarius. Idealistic relationships that seem like a great idea but actually take a lot of energy to make work. Partnerships with people you like better when you aren’t together a lot. You may buy new tech gadgets, spend time learning astrology.  We want to be a part of something bigger but still retain our own individuality.

When Mars is in Aquarius we don’t want to be pinned down, don’t try to label or box us in. Freedom is important and expressing ourselves in our own way through actions that are unique to who we are. This Mars feels passionately about ideals and usually thinks things through before taking action.

As a second rendezvous occurs just minutes after the planets enter Aquarius, we should feel the climactic meeting but then as the next few days go by and Venus picks up speed it will finally release that sexual tension that has been an underlying current for weeks. When Venus and Mars are this close for so long, we think about the things we want and ways we can go after them. We consider what is important to us, what we value and if our actions match those values. We have had the chance to adjust and tomorrow we may be able to think a little clearer to see just where we have landed ourselves.

Mars will enter Aquarius at 1:23 am, then Venus will enter Aquarius at 1:30 am and finally, Mars conjunct Venus at 2:12 am at 0 degrees Aquarius 1 minute and 33 seconds.
