This is a time to release the stale and unnecessary from our lives as we approach the Taurus new moon on April 30th. It is important to make room by clearing out the clutter, both figuratively and literally, from our lives because there is a wonderful creation energy with this lunation that needs room to germinate and grow.
Eclipses can be tricky for manifesting because they carry an element of the unease. As the Moon covers the Sun in the middle of the day, we are anxious because this is not normal procedure even though we understand the science behind it our instincts are still in awe of what is happening. This eclipse is very close to Uranus which can bring further disruption and surprise into our lives as it bucks against the comfort and secure routine of Taurus. If we have not climbed out of our safe and predictable space this will shake us out.
At the same time that the eclipse takes place Venus is moving into an exact conjunction with Jupiter that takes place about a half hour later. This is a lucky aspect, a wishing transit, this warns of too much of a good thing at worst. Venus is the ruler of the new moon in Taurus, she is feeling generous and bountiful in this aspect. If we have prepared and cleared space for the changes that need to take place, we can share our dreams quietly with the universe. Then we may watch as the seeds planted at this new moon grow into maybe not exactly what we want but probably just what we need.
The Taurus new moon partial solar eclipse takes place at a 4:28 pm EDT and is at 10 degrees of Taurus and 28 minutes. The Venus – Jupiter conjunction occurs at 4:55 pm at 27 degrees of Pisces and 57 minutes. If you have planets or points that connect with these aspects in your natal chart you may feel the effects more directly or intensely.
