Sun in Cancer

The days are long in the northern hemisphere and the nights are hot, it is Cancer season. Just before sunrise on the east coast of the US the Sun will slip into the sign of the Crab, a cardinal water sign that is about belonging to a close-knit group. For many this means family, but it can also encompass close friends, or be as broad as the country you call home. Cancer rules the stomach, represents our home, and has a connection to the maternal parent.
