We may try our best to see both sides of the story while Mercury is in Libra, but chances are there will be a new wrinkle or two that emerges as we plod through a retrograde that back tracks into Virgo. Mercury in Libra is about beautiful words, finding compromise through communication and using our voice to fight injustice.
Libra is an air sign ruled by Venus. We may choose our words with greater care while Mercury is here, especially because we know with a retrograde looming those words may come back to haunt us. Mercury goes retrograde on 9/9 until 10/2. This will be a cautionary time for contracts and negotiations especially, both things normally encouraged with Mercury in Libra but better left until after October 17th when Mercury is in fresh territory once again. Of course, if you must sign an agreement just be prepared to possibly have to revisit it or resign again at a later time.
We have the opportunity to discuss our relationships and talk through compromises that are often needed when working with a partner. Choices may be difficult to make right now as you will see the pros and cons of everything a bit more clearly.
Mercury is in Libra from August 25 through September 23 and then goes back into Virgo until returning to Libra from October 10 through 29th. Mercury is retrograde from September 9th through October 2nd and will cover 8’ Libra through 24’ Virgo. If you have planets or chart points in these degrees, you may feel the energy more directly.
