The fog will clear but not just yet. While Mercury will end his retreat into Virgo and return to forward motion on October 2, an opposition to Neptune retrograde in Pisces keeps the confusion and chaos going for a few more days.
It always takes some time for Mercury to get back in his groove after a retrograde but we usually feel a little relief once he stations retrograde. By connecting with a dreamy unfocused Neptune this time we don’t feel that clarity just yet. Just hold on a day or so before returning to the decisions and discussions you are ready to finalize. This last pass through the end of Virgo gives us an opportunity to see the data clearly now before Mercury returns to Libra on October 10 and we need to convince others of the validity of our choices.
Mercury is stationing in Virgo when he opposes Neptune at 1:29 am on October 2. Mercury technically is direct at 5:07 am but again we won’t feel it until probably October 4. Mercury moves back into Libra on October 10 and will clear his shadow period by the end of October.
