Sun in Aquarius

It’s the middle of winter in the northern hemisphere and many people are getting tired of being stuck indoors because of bad weather. This desire for something different in the middle of the same- old-same is Aquarius energy. As a fixed sign, Aquarius isn’t going to do anything too spontaneous but a carefully thought out change of pace, or a researched rebellion against tradition is Aquarius in action. As an air sign Aquarius is about thinking, ideas and information. These are often concepts that involve broad groups of people, communities, even countries.

As a sign ruled by Saturn traditionally, Aquarius has boundaries and sees limits but with modern ruler Uranus there is a desire to test those limits and break through the boundaries.

This is a good time for gathering information or experimenting with new ideas, especially if it’s a long process. It’s a good time to try something new you’ve been thinking about for a while. Uranus rules electricity so sometimes we want to shock people with the part of our chart ruled by Aquarius.
