We finally have our first look at Pluto in Aquarius since the planet was discovered in 1930. The last time Pluto was in Aquarius was 1777- 1798, a time of revolutions in politics, science, and industry. Since Pluto is a generational planet, one that moves so slowly it is in the same sign for an entire generation, it will only impact you directly if you have planets in Aquarius or one of the other fixed signs: Taurus, Leo, and Scorpio. It needs to get pretty close to a personal planet to effect it too but again since the motion is so slow that contact can cover a few years.
Pluto’s energy is concerned with transforming through removing what doesn’t work and making what does work better but this often isn’t an easy process. With Pluto in sign of Aquarius this means the collective itself, our communities and societies, will undergo changes. Aquarius is future oriented and strives towards inclusivity. Aquarius is known for technology and scientific advancement. Look for significant changes in these areas as we experience Pluto in Aquarius between now and 2043 when this small but powerful planet dives into Pisces.
This is just a first look as Pluto is still wrapping up his time in Capricorn for the second half of this year and even part of 2024, entirely entering Aquarius in November 2024.
